Russell Rathbun is a writer, blogger, speaker, and a founding pastor of House of Mercy, a St. Paul, Minnesota, church once named “the Best Church for Non-Churchgoers.” His most recent book is The Great Wall of China and the Salton Sea: Monuments, Missteps, and the Audacity of Ambition. His other books are Midrash on the Juanitos, a novella; Post-Rapture Radio, a novel based on the writings of the fictional character Reverend Richard Lamblove (who Rathbun also occasionally blogs as); and nuChristian: Finding Faith in a New Generation, a book about church ministry.
