Marilyn Chandler Mcentyre

Poet and author Marilyn Chandler McEntyre is a Fellow at the Gaede Institute at Westmont College, and former member of the Westmont English Department. She now teaches writing in the health care professions at UC Davis and medical humanities at the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program. McEntyre has written for Weavings, The Christian Century, Christianity Today, Prism, Theology Today, The Princeton Seminary Review, Academic Medicine, Literature and Medicine, and Medical Humanities, among other journals. Her books include Caring for Words in a Culture of Lies; Christ, My Companion; and three volumes of poems on Dutch painters: In Quiet Light, Drawn to the Light, and The Color of Light. She has also edited several anthologies of poetry and essays.
