Katherine James’s debut novel, Can You See Anything Now? won Christianity Today’s 2018 Fiction Book of the Year Award and was a semifinalist for the Doris Bakwin Prize. Her poetry and narrative nonfiction has been published in a variety of journals and anthologies, one of her stories was shortlisted for a Narrative spring prize, and she has a forthcoming memoir, Notes on Orion. She holds an MFA from Columbia University, where she received the Felipe P. De Alba Fellowship.
