Kate Braestrup
Memoirist Kate Braestrup is an ordained minister and chaplain for the Maine Warden Service. She has written articles for the New York Times Magazine, Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, O, Mademoiselle, and Law and Order. Her memoir, Here If You Need Me, is a New York Times bestseller. It tells the story of Braestrup’s life after her husband’s death, and how she pursued his dream of becoming a minister. Her other books include Marriage and Other Acts of Charity and Beginner’s Grace: Bringing Prayer to Life. Braestrup lives in Maine.
