The Gary and Henrietta Byker Chair in Applied Reformed Theology at Calvin College, James K. A. Smith is also a cultural critic and the author of several books, including three Christianity Today Book Award winners: You Are What You Love, Who’s Afraid of Postmodernism? and Desiring the Kingdom. The editor in chief of Comment Magazine, Smith regularly writes for academic publications as well as magazines and newspapers, such as Slate, Christianity Today, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.
