J. Dana Trent is an author, speaker, minister, and teacher. She has published two books: For Sabbath’s Sake: Embracing Your Need for Rest, Worship, and Community and Saffron Cross: The Unlikely Story of How a Christian Minister Married a Hindu Monk. In addition to teaching world religions and critical thinking at Wake Technical Community College, Trent has written for TIME.com, the Christian Century, Patheos, and Sojourners.
