Dean Nelson

Dean Nelson directs the journalism program at Point Loma Nazarene University and at the Writer’s Symposium by the Sea. He writes for the New York Times, the Boston Globe, Christianity Today, and Sojourners. He has won several awards from the Society of Professional Journalists for his reporting and has written or co-written 14 books, including God Hides in Plain Sight. His most recent book, Quantum Leap: How John Polkinghorne Found God in Science and Religion, focuses on the world-famous physicist who became a priest in the Anglican Church.
