D. S. Leiter
D. S. Leiter is a researcher, writer, and speaker. She teaches interpersonal and small group communication classes at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, where she focuses on the theory and practice of healthy communication patterns, and she also speaks about communication as author-audience relationships. Leiter is a member of Sisters in Crime as well as the co-chair of the Mystery and Detective Fiction Area of the Popular Culture Association. She holds two degrees in literature in addition to her PhD in communication. She currently lives in Dubuque, Iowa.
