Amy Frykholm writes about religion, culture and spirituality for The Christian Century and other publications. She is the author of Rapture Culture, a study of readers of the apocalyptic Left Behind series, and Julian of Norwich: A Contemplative Biography, an exploration of the medieval saint. Her most recent book, See Me Naked: Stories of Sexual Exile in American Christianity, is a collection of nine stories of ordinary people who have struggled with the relationship between their religious beliefs and their sexual experience. Frykholm lives in Leadville, Colorado, with her husband, son, dog, cat and goldfish. She has a Ph.D. in literature from Duke University.
