Shuttles

On-Campus Shuttles

Shuttle vans will be running between Festival sessions. Stops include the Prince Conference Center, Covenant Fine Arts Center, Meeter Center Lecture Hall, Spoelhof Center, Calvin Theological Seminary, and Van Noord Arena. At the conclusion of each concurrent session, one van will be at each designated shuttle stop. Each van will then loop around campus, stopping at each designated shuttle stop and continuing around campus until the next session begins.

Off-Campus Shuttles

Shuttle service will be provided at the beginning and end of each day of Festival 2012 to the following hotels: Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, Gatehouse Suites, Hampton Inn and Suites, and Staybridge Suites. Limited service will be available during the dinner hour. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, April 19

Shuttle buses will begin arriving at the hotels at 8:00 a.m. and will continue until 12:30 p.m. The drop-off location on campus is the Prince Conference Center.

Limited shuttle service will be provided to and from hotels during the dinner break. From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., shuttle buses will run from the Prince Conference Center to Church of the Servant and hotels. From 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., shuttle buses will run from hotels to Van Noord Arena.

Shuttle buses will depart from Van Noord Arena after the Jonathan Safran Foer plenary and will run until 9:30 p.m. Shuttles will run to hotels, the Prince Conference Center, and Church of the Servant.

Shuttle service will be provided from the Prince Conference Center to hotels and Church of the Servant after the post-plenary events.

Friday, April 20

Shuttle buses will begin arriving at hotels at 7:30 a.m. and will continue until 8:30 a.m. Upon their arrival on campus, shuttles will make two stops: one at the Prince Conference Center and one at the Covenant Fine Arts Center.

Limited shuttle service will be provided to and from hotels during the dinner break. From 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., shuttle buses will run from the Prince Conference Center to Church of the Servant and hotels. From 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., shuttle buses will run from hotels to Van Noord Arena.

Shuttle buses will depart from Van Noord Arena after the Marilynne Robinson plenary and will run until 9:30 p.m. Shuttles will run to hotels, the Prince Conference Center, and Church of the Servant.

Saturday, April 21

Shuttle buses will begin arriving at hotels at 7:30 a.m. and will continue until 8:30 a.m. Upon their arrival on campus, shuttles will make two stops: one at the Prince Conference Center and one at the Covenant Fine Arts Center.

Limited shuttle service will be provided to and from hotels during the dinner break. From 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., shuttle buses will run from the Prince Conference Center to hotels. From 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., shuttle buses will run from hotels to Van Noord Arena.
