On-Campus Food

There are many on-campus dining options available to Festival attendees. We encourage attendees to consider pre-ordering boxed meals particularly for lunch on Thursday and Friday, as our on-campus dining facilities are often at capacity on those two days.

Boxed Meals

Festival attendees may pre-order boxed meals for lunch and dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We encourage you to do so especially for lunch on Thursday and Friday, as our on-campus dining facilities are often at capacity then.

The cost for pre-ordered boxed meals is $7.00 (plus an additional $1.38 service charge per meal). A full menu is available on the order form. Bottled water is included with all boxed meals. Please note that we can accept credit cards only for payment. TICKETS FOR BOXED MEALS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Upon completion of the form, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with your tickets attached. You will need to present these tickets when you pick up your meals at the Festival. Meals may be picked up in the Covenant Fine Arts Center’s lower west lobby. A limited supply of boxed meals will be available on site for individuals who did not pre-order (cost: $8.75/boxed meal). Staff can accept only cash or checks for on-site boxed-meal sales.

The deadline to pre-order boxed meals is April 9.

On-Campus Dining Facilities

In addition to the boxed meal options, Festival attendees are welcome to visit any of our on–campus dining facilities during the Festival. Hours are listed below.

The Commons Dining Hall (located on the second floor of the Commons) is one of the main campus dining facilities for students. It offers a wide range of fresh salads and hot foods and is open for lunch and dinner on Thursday, and for breakfast and lunch on Friday.

The Knollcrest Dining Hall is the other main student dining facility. It offers a range of salads, sandwiches, and hot foods and is open throughout the Festival.

Uppercrust (located on the third floor of the Commons) is a smaller student dining facility that offers specialty sandwiches and salads.

Johnny’s Café (located on the first floor of the Commons) is a classic college café that offers hot and cold sandwiches, hamburgers, soup, salads, and more. It is open throughout the Festival.

The Spoelhof Café (located on the east side of the Spoelhof Center, facing the Commons Lawn) is smaller than Johnny’s, but it does offer one hot meal option, a salad bar, and various cold sandwiches for lunch.

The DeVos Grab and Go (located in the lobby of the DeVos Communication Center, near the entrance to Calvin’s Crossing) offers coffee and a small selection of sandwiches, granola bars, yogurt, and fruit.

The Knight Way Café (located on the upper floor of the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex, just outside the Van Noord Arena) is a good place to stop for a healthy snack, beverage, or quick lunch.
