James Schaap is the author of 23 books, several short fiction pieces, and essays. Some of his books include Romey’s Place, Things We Couldn’t Say (with Diet Eman), and Sixty at Sixty: A Boomer Reflects on the Psalms, a book of devotionals inspired by the Psalms. Schaap is emeritus professor of English at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
