G.C. Waldrep is the author of four volumes of poetry, including Goldbeater's Skin, Disclamor, and Your Father on the Train of Ghosts, a collaboration with poet John Gallaher. Waldrep’s work has appeared in numerous journals, including Poetry, Ploughshares, Harper's, Kenyon Review, New American Writing, and Tin House, as well as The Best American Poetry 2010 and the second edition of Norton's Postmodern American Poetry. The recipient of a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, Waldrep holds degrees in history from Harvard University and Duke University, and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Iowa. He currently teaches at Bucknell University, where he directs the Bucknell Seminar for Young Poets and edits the journal West Branch.
