Chigozie Obioma

Chigozie Obioma was born in Nigeria. He has lived in Nigeria, Cyprus and Turkey, and currently resides in the United States, where he has completed an MFA in creative writing at the University of Michigan and is now assistant professor of English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His fiction has appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review and Transition. His novel, The Fishermen, has been short-listed for the 2015 Man Booker Prize for Fiction.
