Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of the Calvin Alumni Association, Calvin College English Department, Calvin College Honors Program, and Calvin Seminary’s Center for Excellence in Preaching, several partial scholarships will be available for Festival 2012.

An important note: If you are applying for one of these scholarships, please wait to complete your online registration until you have received confirmation (and a registration code) from the office that is processing your application.

Calvin alumni
The Calvin Alumni Association is providing thirty partial ($85) scholarships to Calvin alumni (non-students) who are unable to meet the full registration fee for Festival 2012. The scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, please send an e-mail to ffw@calvin.edu with the words “alumni scholarship” in the subject line. In the body of the e-mail please include your first name, last name, graduation year, and a 2-3 sentence explanation of why you want to attend Festival 2012. You will receive a response to your application within a week.

Calvin College students (non-Honors Program)
A limited number of need-based partial ($40) scholarships are available for Calvin students in any major. (Note: If you are in Calvin's Honors Program, please apply for a scholarship from the Honors Program Office. See below for more information.) The scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, please send an e-mail to ffw@calvin.edu with the words “Calvin Student Scholarship” in the subject line. In the body of the e-mail please include your first name, last name, area of study, and a 2-3 sentence explanation of why you want to attend Festival 2012. You will receive a response to your application within a week.

Students in Calvin College's Honors Program
A limited number of partial ($40) scholarships are available for Calvin students in the Honors Program. The scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, please complete the Honors Program Application.

Calvin Seminary students
The seminary's Center for Excellence in Preaching is offering a limited number of partial ($40) scholarships to Calvin Theological Seminary students and Western Theological Seminary students from Holland. The scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, please contact Scott Hoezee.
