The Festival of Faith and Writing at Calvin College is a biennial conference that brings together writers, editors, publishers, musicians, artists, and readers for three days of discussing and celebrating insightful writing that explores, in some significant way, issues of faith.
The Festival began in 1990, and since that time we have welcomed to Calvin thousands of attendees and hundreds of speakers—including John Updike, Elie Wiesel, Maya Angelou, Salman Rushdie, Donald Hall, Katherine Paterson, Madeleine L’Engle, Annie Dillard, and many more.
We hope you'll be able to join us for our next Festival, April 10-12, 2014, as we explore the many connections between faith and writing. More information on Festival 2014 will be available on this site starting in mid-2013.
Please note: We are currently undergoing a change to our mailing list system. If you would like to subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, Festival News, please contact the Festival office via e-mail and we will manually subscribe you once the new system is in place.
